Description: |
In British Columbia, German Olympian Felix Loch helped his team sweep the top three places for the men's singles in the World Cup luge races that took places at the Whistler Sliding Centre in a town of the same name in BC. According to some websites about sports who reported on the subject, the meet was the first lug competition of significant size that's been held since the 2010 Winter Olympics when a Georgian athlete perished in a crash just a few hours before the opening ceremonies. Loch's wining times were one minute, 36.480 seconds while second place was one minute, 36.758 seconds. |
