WHAT IS RSS?

RSS is a web technology which lets you retrieve new content from web sites without needing to visit those web sites with your web browser, and with very little Internet speed needed. The advantage is that many RSS reading software, also called RSS aggregators, periodically check whether there is new content, and alert you if there is. You can then either read the new content in the RSS aggregator, or click a link to go directly to the new content on the web site.

Redwings Horse Sanctuary has an RSS feed which you can subscribe to by copying the link from the RSS button on our home page and pasting it into your web aggregation software. If your web browser supports it, you can even simply click on that button to see our RSS feed. Some RSS aggregators also have an auto-discovery feature that might be able to find our RSS feed automatically when given our site’s URL.
